This Christmas season, I was privileged to return to the Mesa Arts Center to produce a stage show with Brian Nissen. I produced Brian’s live stage show, Citrus Valley Playhouse from 2004-2008, all around the State of Arizona. The Mesa Arts Center, Tempe Center for the Arts. One of those productions involved the dramatization of the true Mesa, Arizona story we called, The Man Who Killed Santa Clause.” Mayor John Giles loved the story and the performance so much that he asked Brian and me to return to the Mesa Arts Center for a special showing to follow the turning on of the Mesa Christmas lights.
